Nothing Bundt Cakes

PLEASE READ!!! This maybe lengthy. On 9/01, I purchased a 10 inch double chocolate cake and two candles to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday. We sang the birthday song about 9pm. We ATE the cake and upon my daughter getting a second piece she discovered a FINGERNAIL on the cake!!!!!! We were disgusted and saddened. My family LOVE nothing Bundt cake. We are not locals so we were happy to see we were close enough to travel to a location. On 9/02, I called the location to share our experience. I was told by an employee that the manager was on lunch. She took my information and told me I should receive a call when the manager return. I didn’t receive a call. On 9/03 I discovered an email that was sent on 9/02. This was an insult to me. I felt like we wasn’t validated. Although, I did receive an apology through email, it wasn’t personalized the email didn’t even address me by my name. If it was a misspelling of her name I would’ve accepted and email apology being that it was something this severe I don’t feel like that was an appropriate way to apologize. Honestly, I don’t even know how this matter will be better for me. Another cake? Absolutely not! This company lacks safety and health. In order for that to happen whoever prepared the cake bit their fingernail and spat it out!!!! What?!! Today is 9/07, I gave more than enough time for management to contact me and try to resolve this matter. After the email, I replied and still haven’t heard anything. Management obviously don’t care so I wanted to make customers aware of this.

I normally have good experiences with all other nothing Bundt cake locations. So I didn’t read the reviews before popping in, but now I wish I would have. Similar to the other reviews, please be cautious before going in. I went in to purchase some bundlets and they were over baked, very stale, and the flavor was off. These both seemed old. I was thinking maybe just one of them would be bad and the other okay but both flavors were not good. I know things happen but seems to be common based on the other reviews. I recommend choosing another location.

First time visiting, and the cake was not worth the price or as expected. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to buy him a nice cake. I paid $30 for an eight inch, and it was very gummy and flat. I like that it wasn't dry, but it was too wet and not fluffy at all. The icing was also a tad bit too thick and too sweet. I will continue making time to bake because this just was not it.

Went to try and purchase a cake for my husband’s birthday and there was one customer and myself. The customer before me was attended. And 3 ladies came in together behind me and the manager walked over from where she was standing and completely ignored me standing there and asked the ladies behind me that just walked in if they needed help. I asked her if there was a reason why they were getting attended to before me, her knowing I’ve been waiting to be attended. she just stared at me in silence. With no reply I decided to leave. Had my grandson with me and he was so upset that we weren’t able to get a Bundt cake. Terrible experience for my first visit.

I go here very often and love their cakes but lately the quality and service have declined. I bought 6 normal size Bundt cakes as party favors but one of the cake looked like it was dropped and/or have been opened, all sticky on the outside of the container and the frosting was smashed and there was even a hair stuck in btwn the container opening!! We didn't see it until we got home bc they staple the bag and we did not have time to make another trip back >.< Also 6mos prior, we wanted to buy the flower, ribbon and clear bag to wrap the cakes for a birthday but they refused to sell it to us and said we had to wait 25min for someone to tie it on and we can't just buy it and do it ourselves!! REALLY?!? We were already late to a bday and thought this would be a quick and nice gift but ended up being frustrated and the lady up front did not seem to care or can even explain WHY we can't just pay for the deco and put it on ourselves! So weird!! BTW, the email bday cake doesn't even work, I don't get any email for a free bday bundt cake.... BUTTTT I do get all their marketing spams >.< asked them about it several times and even re-entered my email 2 more times, but nada and no one knows why. I'll just stick with Tiff's.
